Posted by caperaway on December 17, 2007

It’s been a while since I provided a list of reviews I’ve written for ComicReaders.com but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been writing them. Here then is a list of my most recent reviews:

Crazy Mary: Trinity: Written by Michael Colbert, a fellow writer on the Special Edition project.
The Northlanders #1: A new Vertigo series from Brian Wood, featuring Vikings.
Uzumaki volume 1: Fantastically strange and gross horror manga from Junji Ito.
Elephantmen: Wounded Animals: Sci-fi comics at their very best.
The Walking Dead #44: The beginning of the “Nobody’s Safe” story arc.
Mouse Guard: Winter 1152 #2 (of 6): The sequel to last year’s break out hit.
Groo: Hell on Earth #1 (of 4): Groo, the bumbling barbarian, returns.

Crazy Mary

Posted by caperaway on September 26, 2007

One of the other writers on the Special Edition project is part of the creative team for Crazy Mary, which has recently been solicited in Previews. Getting a comic finished let alone published is a great achievement so I wanted to take this opportunity to help Mike promote the new book.

Crazy Mary is available to order through this month’s Previews. The order code is SEP073587. You can also order it through www.dcbservice.com for 30% off.

Crazy Mary is a cyberpunk / action / supernatural horror comic from Digital Webbing about a bounty hunter who may or may not be crazy but she doesn’t let it get in the way of a mark. The cover and art for two of the stories is done by J.K. Woodward (Fallen Angel, X-Men: Beast) and hits stores in late November.

If you want to check out the art, you can go to www.whoiscrazymary.com.

So, congrats to Mike and the rest of the Crazy Mary team! I’ve asked my local shop to order me a copy and I look forward to checking it out.
